Twin Oaks Community Foods products are made at Twin Oaks Community in Virginia by our worker-owned cooperative. Since the community’s beginning in 1967, our way of life has reflected our values of cooperation, sharing, nonviolence, equality, and ecology. We strive to function as an ecovillage: we grow and produce a large portion of our own food, work to use renewable energy sources, and share resources whenever possible. By pooling resources we are able to reduce our expenses and the subsequent impact on the earth.

All Twin Oaks Community Foods are made with local, organic NON-GMO soybeans and fresh, non-flouridated, chlorine-free artisan well water. We play our part in supporting local agriculture by using only soybeans grown right here in Virginia, helping to reduce the use of fuel for transportation.

Twin Oaks Wild Mushroom Savory Okara Spread is sold vacuum-packed in recyclable shrink-wrapped plastic envelopes. Vacuum packing is the best way to bring you our products while keeping them firm and without extra liquid.
