Twin Oaks Community Foods products are made at Twin Oaks Community in Virginia by our worker-owned cooperative. Since the community’s beginning in 1967, our way of life has reflected our values of cooperation, sharing, nonviolence, equality, and ecology. We strive to function as an ecovillage: we grow and produce a large portion of our own food, work to use renewable energy sources, and share resources whenever possible. By pooling resources we are able to reduce our expenses and the subsequent impact on the earth.

All Twin Oaks Community Foods are made with local, organic NON-GMO soybeans and fresh, non-floridated, chlorine-free artisan well water. We play our part in supporting local agriculture by using only soybeans grown right here in Virginia, helping to reduce the use of fuel for transportation.

Twin Oaks Vegetarian Sausage and Wild Mushroom Okara Spread is sold vacuum-packed in recyclable plastic. The process of pasteurizing and chilling gives our tofu a stable shelf-life. These products should be refrigerated.

Twin Oaks Vegetarian Sausage Sweet & Spicy Chorizo is a delicious, guilt-free sausage that can be crumbled into sauces & casseroles, or seared and served as patties. Made from a base of soy protein, the texture of our Vegetarian Sausage is similar to meat. We add spices and other organic ingredients for flavor. Twin Oaks Vegetarian Sausage can be sliced or crumbled and fried as one would with ground beef.

Spreadable and ready to eat or cook, Twin Oaks Wild Mushroom Spread is great as a snack spread on toasted pita, as a condiment on a tofu sandwich, or as a delicious party dip.
