A great staple recipe for vegans and vegetarians! Marinaded Twin Oaks Tofu makes a wonderful addition to any dish. Get creative and modify your favorite traditional recipe...meatless menus are so satisfying with Twin Oaks Tofu.
Ingredients
- 1 lb Twin Oaks Extra Firm Plain Tofu, Italian Herb Tofu, or French Herb Tofu
- 8 oz tamari or soy sauce, as a marinade
- 2 tb olive oil
- Sriracha sauce or chili paste, to add spice to marinade (optional)
Instructions
- Cut Twin Oaks Tofu into cubes and place in a bowl. With Twin Oaks Extra Firm Tofu, there is no need for pressing to drain excess liquid. It's ready-to-cook right from the package! Cover the tofu completely with tamari or soy sauce. If you prefer a spicier flavor, this is a great time to add some sriracha sauce or chili paste to the marinade.
- Marinate for 2 to 5 minutes, or longer if you desire a saltier flavor.
- Lightly coat the bottom of a pan with olive oil and heat on medium-high.
- Drain the marinade out of the bowl. Save the marinade in the refrigerator for your next Twin Oaks Tofu recipe. Place the Twin Oaks Tofu cubes in the heated pan.
- Sauté until the tofu cubes have been lightly browned.
- Done! Totally quick and easy, right? There are so many ways to enjoy this dish...add to a salad, use in a wrap with organic vegetables, tumble into a stir-fry, or eat on its own. Nom nom!
